This was a fun assignment. It is more difficult to take pictures of moving things so taking pictures without any blur was challenging. I used aperture priority in all of these pictures because I am not comfortable with manual yet. Also, I tried to go take pictures earlier in the day when the lighting would be better. The biggest thing that I learned from this week was that it is important to take a lot of pictures because even when you think you might have a great shot, a different one might end up being better. I took about 200 pictures and only really liked about 10!

I think that my favorite shot is your first shot. It has shallow depth of field, allows your eye to fill in the rest of the image and you can completely see the different textures of the horses hair. I actually like the shadow of the fence on the horse. Did you know that you actually just did a color study in brown? Good job!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your animal shots. The one of the horse with the bright sunlight is my favorite. The silhouette of it looks great and you captured it wonderfully. The cow in the feeder was really good too. The color of the cow looks great. The floral shots were good. I would suggest to take a close up shot of that tree and get some detail in the berry things, using a shallow depth of field and have the rest of the detaile fading out in the back.
