Scanography is quite challenging for me. You definitely have to be artistic to come up with a good idea for scanography. For my single scan, I took my set of scriptures, a pen, glasses and a scarf; everything you need to study your scriptures. I then scanned it and got the picture that is on this blog. For my collage scan, I took different scans of each different game. I then took the selection of the objects. This was pretty easy because the background is black and provided a lot of contrast for the selection to be picked up. I then masked out some of the puzzle pieces because it was too cluttered and then merged all of the scans to create one image.

  1. Wow! You had a really good week! I thought your edges complimented your photos nicely and your scans turned out fantastic! I think that your scripture scan was my favorite. You were really able to capture the different textures.

  2. Good job on your composition of both your pictures and scanography. I really like the flowers and how you weren't afraid to get close up. It really brings out the details. Also good job capturing the light coming through the white flower. It makes it look like it's glowing. Your borders match well with the pictures that you placed them on. I really like the last one. Adding both the brush effect and a double border around the edge really make it look as if you painted a picture and placed it in a frame, making it look like it's a completed masterpiece.
